The Lake

Oh what to what to blog about first? Well, since I am coming off a memorable weekend at the lake, I thought I would begin by sharing a little lake insight into me. My absolute most favorite place to be is on the water. I'm a HUGE fan of spending time with family and friends at the lake. It is amazingly relaxing laying on the boat and soaking in the sun while the boat rocks gently to the waves. On the flipside, it is such a thrill speeding over (sometimes into) the waves while the cool spray splashes (or dumps) onto your face. It's just so much fun! I've had quite a few favorite memories over my years enjoying various lakes. I thought I would share just a few in no particular order...

Favorite #1...

Is that a lifejacket on a dog? Why yes, yes it is!

If you are a dog lover and have not owned a golden retriever...I definitely recommend it! They are nothing but pure joy. Here is Chandler sporting a very fashionable life jacket (really the handle on the jacket was the only way to get him back on the boat and he didn't seem to mind). I'm pretty sure Chandler and I were like-minded on the subject of the lake.

Favorite #2...

So, my niece is a gymnast. Here she is showing off her water handstand abilities...

And my nephew is not a gymnast. But he sure tried!

Favorite #3...

Ahhh, the sunsets! It's so beautiful on the water at sunset that you are not sure if it is real or a painting.
